I studied law and stock markets in the double programme at the Instituto de Estudios Bursátiles (IEB), qualifying in 1999.
Newly qualified, I was selected for a six-month internship in Washington DC at US start-up called “The Global Exchange, Inc.”.
I started practising as a junior lawyer in the E-Commerce department at Anguiano y Asociados (January to December 2000).
From there I went to Garrigues Abogados where I remained until August 2010 as a junior lawyer, collaborator and finally, an associate. During this time I lectured and spoke in different Master’s Degree programmes and training seminars and participated in work groups on matters related to electronic signatures and invoices.
In September 2010 I joined Trebia Abogados as a partner and in 2013, with Miguel Valdés, we formed Valdés Latasa & Asociados as a specialised boutique working in the areas of technology law and intellectual property.
In October 2016 we decided to join Ejaso ETL to manage the Technology and Intellectual Property Department.
